I purchased 2 kinds of balls. Our autistic child prefers the softer squishy ball. I think it all depends on the person.Was really excited to receive these and try out a pop it toy since I heard it was good for anxiety. Within a few hours the balls basically had less air inside making them seem deflated. They still work but was expecting more.They work as should but after a while they went flat. There were no holes that we could see but a split where the seams are.First off, these balls are super-cute. Each has a kind of marbled pattern, some in very bright colors and other in very pale ones. I prefer the one that's a pale blue, white, and lavender color, but others will appreciate the brighter colors more than I do. My cat has already claimed the yellow one for herself lol.These are very good fidget toys, and I found the tactile experience quite relaxing. The noise, however, was a problem for me. When you push too many of the protrusions in, the ones you've already popped in will pop out again with a rather noticeable sharp noise. I couldn't abide it, especially when it happened unexpectedly. So people who don't do well with unexpected noises, or who don't like popping-type sounds will not find these particularly relaxing.That said, I think most children and many adults would just love playing with these and find the noise satisfying rather than jarring or unnerving (I checked with a friend and she liked it). It'll very much depend on the individual, I suspect.The box indicates that these are made of food-grade silicone so, barring allergies, these are perfectly suitable even for very young children who still like to put things in their mouth (although of course all the usual disclaimers about thoroughly washing toys and always supervising young children playing with small or squishy things apply). I think it would be very good for helping a toddler with coordination and helping them start to grasp cause and effect. And, with older children, the balls are soft enough that no one's going to get hurt if they start getting thrown around the room.This is a fun fidget that you can toss around as well as pop. you can get a few pop its down and then have a very satisfying sound when you squeeze.These arent the greatest quality and came flattened in packaging. Not what I was expecting as far as size and quality.
