Builder Bugs: A Busy Pop-up Book by David Carter – Interactive Children's Bug Book for Learning & Playtime Fun

My four year old grandson loves the interactive things! He makes me read it over and over.I love the whole bug books collection. They really put thought into the movement of every pop up. This book is so cute. It is fragile but for kids that are a little older it’s perfect!My 19 month old grandson loves this book. Be careful with little ones, they can easily break the pop up parts. Even so, we read him this book several times every day.I love David Carter's Bug collection. This is definitely a more advanced book, in a way. Architect bugs have multiple blue prints for the upcoming project....That alone sets the stage for 7+. The rest is kind of...boring. 7+ would be be more likely to name the various tools, but there isn't a whole lot of story behind it.My 3 year old loves this book. There really isn’t much of a story, and honestly I don’t find it exciting, but my child thinks it’s great. He loves the pop-ups and thinks the bugs are fun to look at. He looks at it over and over again and loves calling my attention to details on the pages.The book arrived in good condition. All of the pop ups were functional and none were bent. My 2 year old son loves this series and this one was no different. This book is mostly flaps you have to open to get the things to pop up, with one pull tab and one larger pop up at the end.It was for my 3 year old class and they loved it.Adorable!! My three year old loves this book!We read it over and over....he never gets tired of it. He’s fascinated with the bugs and their projects.My Grandson absolutely loves this book along with the others in this series!A delight for a small child, colourful, inventive and fun.A very busy, informative book - great pop-up pictures. The pop-ups are well-designed mechanically, although don't seem sturdy enough to handle much abuse. The steps of house-building illustrated don't flow together as well as I would have liked, although they are appealing as individual pictures and provide a satisfying ending with the house ready to move into!We love this series of books, great fun, and one we have read multiple times. The flaps do eventually give out and will tear if exposed to an entusiastic youngster.
