My daughter is very happy with her new backpack. She can easily pack all her folders and laptopIt’s tough and a great every day backpack. I have room for all my electronics and it’s comfortable on the shoulders. Like many reviews say, the zippers can be tough but I don’t think it’s that big of a deal.I bought this backpack for college and it exceeded my expectations. Perfect size. Great quality. The laptop pocket has good padding and fits my 15” laptop. I have had a Herschel travel bag before and now purchased the backpack, which has made me even more of a fan for Herschel.I used this product for school its great! comfy everything good about it except no side pockets for a water bottleI like the leather details and the red and white striped lining.Very spacious however was too big for my kidLiterally perfect. Love all the compartments..I’m not sure why all Herschel bags don’t come standard with this amount of storage space?Exactly as expected.A really fantastic and quality build. My only complaint is about the zippers with are a little awkward to zip with how they are made. All in all, this backpack will last years.I had a regular Superdry bag before and was using it for university. Normally, I would have to put my laptop inside a sleeve to protect it but this Herschel bag comes with its own protective sleeve thing. It's also not touching the bottom of the bag, and there's about a 3-5 cm gap between the bottom of the bag and the end of the sleeve, meaning it's going to get some cushioning effect if my bag was dropped straight down.The zips feel sturdy and can be hard to get it around for certain parts of the zipper but it's not something that bothers me. There were reviews of people saying how it's hard to move the zip around for the front compartment section but mine's been somewhat smooth.Another thing I've noticed is that the bag feels lighter to carry, possibly due to the 16-inch MBP not moving forwards and backwards when walking. My old bag felt slightly heavier but this ones is a lot easier to carry around.I've looked long and hard to find a backpack that I was truly happy with to use for commuting as well as for leisure. It's very difficult when buying online to judge size, fit and quality. I went through two different purchases before I settled on this one. Happily though, this is an winner.The most important items for me were:- Straps - I want straps that don't dig into my shoulders, so they need to be rounded at the sides- Zips - need to be firm and sturdy and not likely to break easily- Size - needs to be compact so that I didn't feel I always have to take it off whilst on the tube, and fit my 15" laptop- Style - should be different/interestingOn all the above points, this backpack delivers. I am incredibly happy with my choice, and I suspect it is going to last me a number of years.If you want to buy one, be aware that Herschel create great backpacks, and in plenty of different varieties and colours. The pricing on Amazon to buy one can be different for each type and between seller, so you need to do your research to find the cheapest. It's also worth checking out the main Herschel site to find the style you want first before looking for it at a better price point on Amazon.Had this bag for a few months now. Excellent bag.iPod pocket is a little tight for the classic (My ipod is in a little leather cover too) I can get it in without to much force.Sunglasses pouch was a good feature to include.I keep my iPad in the back smooth laptop bit and my bottle of water in the main bit along with whatever else I need for work.Front pouch is for my shop keys and therear front pouch I use for deodorant and pain killers and mobile phone.All in all a good bag.Zips are very strong and sturdy.The headphone hole is super super tight and requires some force to insert your ear phones. Most likely reason is too keep it as waterproof as possible. Quite a pain to insert and remove every time but I use the sunglasses pocket to hold the headphones rather than take them in and out.This is a nice looking, simple/sporty looking backpack. I got it as a gift for my husband, with the separate/matching charger case. It fits his laptop in a cushioned, dedicated area; and still has room for newspaper/magazines, etc. He likes it, but it is slightly smaller than most adult backpacks. If you're looking for a very roomy backpack, this is not the one.I really liked the look and reputation of this brand and the fabric is good quality but the front pocket zip has broken in such a short space of time (less than 3 months use). It's expensive, so not such great value for money.
