Some of the reviewers claim problems disassembling; looks to me like it's a matter of just reading the stupid simple six step instructions and remembering to remove the cover and pull the four latch pins to release the roof frame before trying to fold it up. As for being short; it's exactly as advertized. My only complaint is the Amazon description says the frame is made of aluminim; when in fact it is steel and the primary reason it weights 15#s. Other than an incorrect Amazon description (surprise surprise) it's everything claimed and pefect for my uses.I like these because they are smaller and lighter and easier to transport. I use them for my service jobs for both sun and rain. We are a bit more fragile because they are smaller but work great.Works great. Just wish it had vent at top to let the heat outThe product is heavier than I expected. I may have to go back to my pop-up tent which is so much lighter. I don’t think I can carry this thing to my son’s swim meet.We had bought this tent to use during our sons flag football games. It definitely served its purpose when it came to sun protection, especially with the added sun wall. We liked the fact that it had vent space around the top half of the tent to allow air flow as well. It was the perfect size and easy to carry anywhere with the backpack straps attached to its storage bag. However, when it comes to sturdiness, it didn’t hold up. When you’re setting it up, you can feel how light weight it is. Honestly, something told me it wouldn’t last us very long, but we only used it once a week for a few hours on game day. We happened to open it up in the yard one day, for some extra shade while the kids were playing soccer outside. One of the kids kicked the ball (from at least 30 feet away) and it went straight into one of the tent legs. The leg was dented enough that we couldn’t collapse it properly when it came time to put it away. Eventually when we tried to use it again, the leg snapped off and that was it. We had to trash it. We barely had this tent for 2 months before this happened. So if you’re looking for a simple little tent to use that’s easy to pack/carry/set up, and is needed to provide quick and easy sun protection for a small group of people…then this is it. Just know that it’s not meant for anything heavy duty, and it may or may not last for a long time. This my third time purchasing this product. This is not something to be banged around. It does indeed take some TLC to open and close. That said, It is not impossible to get many years of service from it. It is made to be light weight and collapse into a smaller manageable size (In fact, the case is a quite sturdy backpack). To do this each leg is three segments instead of two and is a lighter metal than other pop up canopies. Because of this each of the lightweight legs have to be extended and locked, as well as retracted, gently and best if you work out a system. The first one I owned I bought from Dick's and I destroyed it the same day by merely closing it up. Since all canopies can get bent and this was the only canopy that will fit in a trailer I pull behind my motorcycle, I had purchased their protection plan and had it replaced under warranty. When I bought it at Dick's it was $95! so that was money well spent. I am l glad this can be had for much less now!The second one I have used for the last 5 years without issue until it met it's demise in a surprise microburst. I use it as sun and rain shade as track marshal for car and motorcycle races as well as 3-day eventing horse trials. It has been a great lightweight pop-up and my peers prefer it over their own larger, heavier canopies.Three things to know, after knowing it needs to been opened and closed gently:If you feel it bind in any way, do not force it. Just gently wiggle a bit, see what is binding and slowly work out the issue. Sometimes the only issue is that if you pull on one side, the force is not evenly sent all around to the other ends of the canopy. All that is needed is to slow down and/or to observe that all the legs are able to move freely and evenly when expanding or retracting. Sometimes even grabbing two opposite legs and ensuring both operate evenly - NEVER force anything - and you will get many years of use.Second, it is not tall. I am 5'8" and I can stand under the point of it but not see out. Perfect if you use it to sit under, not so great as, say, a canopy over your market stand.Third, be prepared to roll up and secure the side flap. It cannot be detached and if you don't need it it needs to be secured, not just rolled up.I expected it to be bigger. We had to duck to get under it and the description said 7'. It is 6x6 and 5' high . My recommendation is do not buy thank God AMAZON did a one time full refund, without receiving product. This so called quick shade go was supposed to be easy peasy, it comes with a beautiful carrying case so you can transport easily, easy ha that's a laugh, you cannot even collapse it and fold it down to put away for easy storage it stayed stuck in it's set up position no matter what we did I had 5 different people try to help me and do not get me started on the roof, it was supposed to be use able in all out door weather, NOT, the roof holds all the rain it does not run off, there for if fills up and sags low if I did not dump and push up roof to remove water I swear the weight from the water would have busted it. Also be sure to check your measurements people as this is very low I am 5 foot 4 and can just fit under it but anyone taller person would have to watch there head going under lol. PLEASE I REPEAT SAVE YOURSELF $130 I wanted to bring it to the beach but I could not fold it down no matter what we did. The video is very deceiving.Buenísimo el techo.Lo ocupe en la playa muchas veces y uno puede estar protegido del sol perfectamente.Es un tamaño ideal para pareja y tener tu hielera y otras cosas.Se arma y se desarma en cuestión de 2 minutos ya con practica.Trae su mochila para cargarla en la espalda fácilmente y trae otras bolsas para otros artículos.Muy contentoI was looking for a canopy that I, as a short woman (5'2") can set up and take down independently. I bought this summer of 2019 and was glad I was able to do set up and down alone. This canopy is not tall and I would still need to watch out for my head. I used this at least twice every summer. I took care of it and wiped it down after every use. It didn't get any rust in the 4 summers I had it. In summer 2021, it had a problem with one of the legs but still useable. Yesterday (summer 2022), a sudden wind gust tore this apart. It is now scrap metal.Overall, I was happy with this canopy. I am sad to see it gone.
