This gazebo is very compact and portable, its actual usage is meant for quick set up and short term usage, so i don't think it's a good idea to keep it erected at home for long term usage, as many other stated strong wind can do some damages to it. I, personally, only use it for our picnics in the park, because it's so quick to set up (need 2 person though) and easy to put away as well, everything fits nicely in its little carrier so it's very portable. It also provides lot of shades for us at the park. If people want a permanent gazebo, they should purchase those metal sets that Costco has, but those are over thousands of dollars... and those are not portable at all, once those are set up, it's permanently anchored to the ground, which is the total opposite of this gazebo, which is meant for portability. This would be extra awesome if it has include mosquitos netting, so we can prevent flies and mosquitos trying to get inside , that's pretty much all the improvement it needs in my opinion.This is the second one of these we have ordered. The first one lasted for 2 years out in the sun. the cover finally started to fall apart, but it was out 24/7. We ordered a different one, but it fell apart as soon as it rained, so we got this one again. It's sturdy and looks pretty at the entrance of our little yurt :)It was great with the sun and is waterproof, but not wind resistant. My advice would be to take it down if you know it will be a windy day. With the wind, the bolts loosened and one of the metal supports/bars on the top snapped. Make sure you have a sturdy rope, don't count on the rope provided because it will deteriorate from the sun. Our gazebo lasted a month, the first wind took it down.It seems to be 10' x 10' instead of a13' x 13' Gazebo Tent. I guess I should have taken the insurance. I set it up. I when back inside for a moment. When back outside and saw the wind destroyed the Pop Up Gazebo Tent. And popped the nylon string. So if you purchase it, buy the insurance too. Other than that it worked great.I loved the gazebo on the picture. We orders it. It was not that hard to put it together (2-3 people required). In 3 days the top ripped! And there in no wind outside at all. It’s actually 95 degrees. I asked the seller if they can replace the top. Still waiting for the answerI liked it very much. But you definitely need to secure it to the ground. The area where I live had a small storm while I was at work and before I could take it down I noticed once I got home it had blown up and over my fence and landed on my Naibor’s patio and got too damaged to repair. So lesson learned. Secure it.On the California coast the wind east these up quickly. In a different living locate I would buy againUsed while camping. Instructions did not include anything about the actual material. Gave step by step for frame setup and take down but none included the top itself.It was broken when I got it. I need another one and use this one for parts. But I’m not paying for it.
