Came in a very slim box and contained absolutely no instructions for assembly at all (not even a picture of how it should look at the end is included, I had to look up the amazon add again to refresh my memory on that). In their favor they did include a mini screw driver in case you don't have one for screws this small. However, the protective paper on the acrylic plates is nigh impossible to get off without cutting into it somehow which will likely scratch the surfaces, I couldn't do it at all without this method. Also the little dot things I assume are meant to cover the screw holes? (they are clear though once peeled so I doubt it) I couldn't figure out what they were for, their sticky too so maybe they are for the base so you can stick it to a table? I didn't use them regardless. Even once tightened I couldn't get the tops (bases for placing figures on) to be entirely sturdy, they still rotate fairly easily and I can't get them better without like a vise perhaps.The whole thing is also ludicrously smaller than I imagined. The Pepsi can picture is the one to focus on, each plate is big enough to fit a can of soda and no more. They are all fairly close together once assembled. The whole thing is probably a little less than a foot across. It seems to be a pretty common review for this to be smaller than expected. I think they need to alter some of their video thumb nails as they make it seem like a 1/7th scale figure would fit when in fact they mostly just won't (again, soda can, if the base is bigger than that it's a no). I figure it'll make a good Amibo stand for some of my extras but it doesn't fit what I intended it to.This is a nice, high quality stand and it looks great holding my son's collectables. However, it was so tedious to put together. There are no directions, so make sure you are putting the correct height stems in the right spots before screwing them in. Nothing was difficult to do, but taking off the protective coverings, placing all the screws and fixing placement issues took longer than I felt it should have. I have purchased plenty of stands before that are already assembled for close to the same price point. That being said, I still only took away one star because the product itself is good and looks attractive. Just know that you do have to put it together.I got this acrylic display stand to hold various items for display, however it is a little smaller than I expected for being the XL. The photos I posted show a shot glass sized teacup on it. If there was a little more space in between them then it would work better for me. However, this is perfect for small items.It took me a while to get the stickers off of each side of the pieces. Putting it together after that took moments and was very easy. This comes with everything you need, including a mini screwdriver.First and foremost my item did not come with instructions. It is not a hard item to put together but I did start to assemble it wrong and realized my error. Second thing which annoyed me most is the pictures show screws and a screwdriver. My set had a tiny L-key and L key screws. I personally hate L key screws. My L key got striped and made it take longer to put together. I feel regular screws, like shown, would have been better. Third issue is the backing papers are so hard to get off. I had to enlist help from everyone to get off 16 backing papers. To put together, which i didn't realize at first, each piece has a top and bottom. The holes are deeper and those are the top holes so the screws sink in and make it stand flat. So make sure you use the right sides up. Overall it looks beautiful once completed and makes any collectible look elegant.I got this for my daughter to display her funko pops on and after getting them all assembled I noticed that the base on one of them was at an angle so we just didnt use that one. Other than that this is great to display models or any collectable!This stand is just the thing I needed to organize my shelf and display my smaller elephant figures so they can be seen easily. There are no instructions with the stand, but it's pretty self-explanatory, and you can always use the picture in the listing for reference, which is what I did.It comes with extra screws and double-sided sticky dots to secure your items to the shelves. It's pretty sturdy, too. I got the clear, and it comes with protective paper on both sides of all the flat pieces. It peels off easily and leaves no smudges or residue.If I were to give it as a gift, I would probably put it together for the person and put it in a larger box, only because there's really no "presentation" here - not even a label on the box telling what's inside - so unless the recipient knows what this is and has asked for one, it looks like a bunch of plastic pieces in a box at first glance.I really like this stand, and I can see myself getting a few more for other collections I have (my miniature muscle cars, for example. ;-)It's a great a great solution for my overcrowded shelves. I'm so glad I ordered it!Side note: not all of the screws would tighten up all the way, so I may have to straighten the individual shelves up once I've got my collection items on them. (I didn't over-tighten the screws because I didn't want to risk cracking the acrylic). This isn't an issue or complaint, just an observation.This stand was probably made for 7 standard size figures. I got it for my mini He-Man collection. They were just standing flat on a shelf previously and I couldn't see any of them. This stand is perfect. I can see all my little He Dudes without breaking my neck.The stand itself was super easy to assemble. The hardest part is removing the paper from the acrylic. Once you have all of the paper off both sides you can start to assemble it with the screws and the little driver they give you. I think it took me all of 5 mins.It's nice and sturdy. The tube pieces that hold the stands screw in flush and tight without and wobbling.I really have no complaints about it. It's great.I hope this helps!
