The range of sizes and types of beads made this as much fun for the 5yo it was intended for as the teen who was playing with her. Some of the smaller beads were too difficult for the 5yo at first, but she's had it for a few weeks now and can do most of them - and plays with it often!These beads are wonderful for kids ages 4 and up! We’ve had a set since my daughter was 3 and they’ve been used for a decade, regularly, with very little attrition.I was disappointed when I bought my last set, as a gift, to discover that they how downsized the container. Other than the size they are perfect and keeps her busy.I bought this for a vacation (week in a beach cottage) activity for a couple of nieces, ages 4 and 7. They loved them.
